Ramstad/Kennedy Award to Flo Stein of North Carolina
The award is given annually by the Recovery Month Planning Partners for Outstanding Leadership by a Single State Authority in support of addiction recovery and Recovery Month. New Trainers Added to Team. A Training of Trainers held in San Jose CA in March and one at NACoA headquarters in mid-April have expanded our teams. As demand increases, regional Group Leader trainings are now being scheduled for Fall in Burnsville NC, at NACoA in Kensington, MD, and in Los Angeles or San Jose CA. Stay tuned. NACoA Advisory Board member, Jerry Moe, received the second annual Emerald Spirit Award at the Sober St. Patrick’s Day event Saturday, March 16, in NYC, in front of a sell-out crowd. A second Sober St. Patrick’s Day was held the next day in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
